Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES)

HFES furthers knowledge about the assignment of functions for humans and machines, whether people serve as operators, maintainers, or users in the system, and advocates systematic use of such knowledge to achieve compatibility in the design of interactive systems of people, machines, and environments to ensure their effectiveness, safety, and ease of performance.

Industrial Design Society of America (IDSA)

The Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) is the world’s oldest, largest, member-driven society for product design, industrial design, interaction design, human factors, ergonomics, design research, design management, universal design and related design fields.

Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)

SAE International is a global association of more than 128,000 engineers and related technical experts in the aerospace, automotive and commercial-vehicle industries. SAE International’s core competencies are life-long learning and voluntary consensus standards development.
